2013.

By 1/06/2013 , ,

well, i honestly can't believe another year is gone. it feels like i was just reflecting on 2011.
guess it's time to review. :)

2012 was quite the year. full of great memories, new friends, new things, challenges, new passions, adventures, etc. the list could go on. i'll see if i can remember the big things.

1. I turned 20. its not as weird now, but it felt pretty weird to start calling myself in the 20's.
2. I endured one of the hardest academic semesters of my college life. Literally. Thinking back now, I'm glad its a new year.
3. I read the Hunger Games series for the first time. Also went to the midnight premiere of the movie. Did I love it? yes. Yes i did. Am I a little bit in love with Peeta? Nope. I'm REALLY in love with Peeta. And always will be.
4. For the first time, I stayed in Provo during the summer. It was an adventure in and of itself. I highly enjoyed it! Probably won't happen again, but I enjoyed it. :)
5. My two best friends left for study abroad at the same time! They both had a wonderful time, and had adventures beyond imagine. But I missed them dearly, and it certainly wasn't easy.
6.Disneyland trip with the family!!! Man...it was the best trip ever. Lots of good memories. :)
7. Ran my very first 5k! Never been so proud in my life.
8. Experienced a truck load of superhero movies! Did I love that? Yes. Did I become a huge superheros fan? Yes, yes I did.
9. Joined my first dinner group! Best decision ever. :)
10. Joined the Humanities Student Council, and have never been more satisfied with anything in my life.

It was a good year to say the least.

I ended the break with my birthday, so I guess I can officially say I'm an adult now. I remember when I was younger, I thought I would feel really old when I hit 21. Not so much. So we'll see how the year 21 goes for me. :)

Goals for 2013?

Well, I haven't officially sat down and made a list, so I guess now is as good as anytime.

1. Get even better at running. Be able to run 7 or 8 miles consistently by the end of the year.
2. Read more. Make it a priority.
3. Blog more consistently. For the sake of my family.
4. Learn a new skill.
5. Successfully finish two internships. :)

I think that's enough for the moment.

Well, I think that's probably enough for now. My goal is to post once a week, so we'll see how that goes.

Peace out.
