well, it's official.

my two best friends........

.....are now officially out of the country. seeing the european world. living the high life. Enjoying the beauty, cuisine, accents, art, music, and attractive european men. All of which are MARVELOUS things. Extremely marvelous.

It just means that Audrey has to live in the comparatively DULL Provo. No offense Provo....but you don't really compare to Europe. Sorry.

some of you may be thinking, "What's this girls problem? It's not like they are dead. And they are coming back. What's the big deal?"

well, for someone who is 1) not dating anyone 2) just moved into a new apt, so therefore is still trying to meet people 3) works 8 hours a day 4) tells her best friends everything and anything, constantly and 5) has lived with one of them for the past 8 months, life is a little weird to not be able to have instant communication.even internet communication has its limits. and living in provo for the summer is making it more and more apparent how much i relied on them. it is a very, very strange concept that i still have not grasped on my mind. and probably won't until they get back....honestly.

for the most part, life still goes on. but there are certain things that i cannot do, due to their absence:


1) Cannot text something funny that just happened that i know either would enjoy.
2) can't swoon with them over the attractive men i walk past and wish with all my heart that i had the guts to do something.
3) can't share how much i love my old movie/music obsessions!
4) don't have a william powell/gene kelly obsessor to talk with
5) no running partner i feel comfortable with
6) can't share youtube videos of old hollywood stuff as easily
7) someone to have a girls night and just hold each other wondering why we are single. then realize we need to actually do something about it. hahahaha

and the list could go on..and on....and on......

these two lovely ladies return to me on June 15-16.  As you can see, there are countdowns on my blog already. All I can do is pray that it goes fast!

despite what i have said, i really am getting along fine. ;) you just never realize how much you depend and love someone until they leave.

but really though.....
