yep.
you know those times when you think of a really great idea to blog about, and then suddenly it's a week or two later, and it really won't be as cool now?
yeah, totally happened to me.
time is flying WAY too fast. school. work. homework. running. football. that's my life.
so this post will probably be a little more then scattered.
So.
my apartment is suffering from a fork famine. in other words. . . whenever i go to the draw to get a fork, there never seems to be a fork. even though i KNOW we are running the dishwasher.
it's a really strange phenomenon. none of us had dreams that told us it would happen so we could prepare. it just happened. no warning. maybe it's a sign?......
also, i've caught a cold...
what? yeah. it's September and i've caught a cold. absolutely ridiculous. i keep loading on vitamins and meds every day, so i think i'm holding it at bay, but my nose is still runny. soooo dumb.
additionally....
the last week or so, i've gone through some SERIOUS cravings....if that's the right word. maybe more like..passionate feelings? let me explain.
for at least two or three days this past week, i've just been overcome with this complete longing for christmas time. I love christmas. i want to listen to my michael buble and amy grant CDs. i want a christmas tree. i want lights everywhere. i want to wear my cute winter coats. i want to smell the christmas smells. ya know what i mean? i'm kind of weird this way.
anyways, because of that want for christmas, i've in in a SERIOUS want to watch LOTR. why you ask? well, here's the thing. my family (namely my mother, father, two sisters, myself, my uncle, cousin, and grandmother) are HUGE LOTR fans. like die hard. like think of how much i love harry potter and then translate it into lotr and you have my mother/uncle. anyways, so every year during the christmas holiday/break we get together at my house and have a LOTR marathon. with all three movies, extended versions, and live the middle earth life. with so much good food, warm fire place, huge screen and projector, it's basically one of the highlights of christmas time for me. that being said, i've just been wanting to watch it SO DANG BAD. i haven't helped myself by listening to the music from the film as well as (okay don't judge, please don't judge me....) music from the LOTR musical.......don't ask, my sister found it, and it's great okay. I JUST WANT TO SEE LEGOLAS SHOOT SOMEONE. bad. so bad.
THEN, the next day, all i wanted to do was go back to Disneyland. oh my heavens I love Disneyland. You guys.....you don't understand. Disneyland is a safe haven for me. i love the smells, the music, the cast members, the rides, and the food! I love everything! even though my family was just there a few months ago...i just want to go back soooo bad. if i ever had the chance to live in california, i would live within 2 hours of disneyland, get an annual pass, and go all the time. my husband would be forced, whether he liked it there or not. i love the magic and the childhood memories it brings to me. i live for those moments.
and just when you thought i could crave nothing more....you were wrong. the next day, all i wanted to do was to go to paris. I just want to go to europe so bad guys. so bad. i want to hear la vie en rose and sit a little cafe with my journal, wearing a scarf and be cool. i want to be sabrina. i want to eat an authentic pastry. i want to see the Eiffel tower at night. i want to see fireworks there. forget the bad smells. i don't care. i just want to go. and then......i would probably ride over to london and go to the harry potter studios museum thing. okay, not probably, i would.
there you have it. its like i go through mood swings, but more like...i-want-to-do-this-so-bad-right-now-i-can't-focus-on-anything-else swings. no joke. does no one else feel like this sometimes? sometimes i think i'm the only one that goes through (aside from my mother and sisters..cuz...well...we're family) this.
well, i think that's all for now. lots to come in the future with Erikapalooza! My besties birthday!
