St. Geezy with the Julia
Ohhhhhhh dear. ;)
Let's just say it was QUITE the adventure.
So let the story tellin begin......
Day 1:
The Journey begins. At approx. 5:16pm, we started out on the 4 hour drive.
And how did it start? With traffic. Yep. Let's just say there was some yelling that took place.
But once we were past that, it was smooth sailin.
Loud music, singing at the top of our lungs, eating cheese nips and swedish fish,
and breating the air of FREEDOM.
We got to her grandparent's house safe and sound, and looked forward to sleeping in a
GIANT king size bed.
But here comes story 1:
So I'm laying on the bed, head resting on the pillow. We started getting ready for bed and watchin Music and Lyrics.
So I stand up and start pulling the covers down,
when I see a creepy, black, fast SPIDER come out from right where my head had just been.
First I scream. Because..well, I'm a girl.
Second, Julia screams, because I screamed.
Third, I make her walk over there and find it. Then she goes to get a tissue to kill it.
Comes back, and the spider has gone.
We literally SEARCHED the bed, under, over, in, out. Nowhere. But know it has to be there somewhere.
There was nothing we could do but forget about it and watch our movie and go to bed.
We did just that, but Audrey however did NOT get a restful nights sleep.
Who can honestly sleep when there's a big spider crawling around your face?
Well, apparently, Julia can. She just knocked out.
Long story short, we never saw the spider again.

Day 2:
We had set an alarm for 8am.
Guess when we actually got out of bed.
9:45am.
We decided sleep was nicer then getting up early to go hiking.
And we were right.
So we got up and packed back up, had some breakfast, then left about 10:30 to start the adventures.
Dixie Rock. That was our destination.
| |
| On our way to Dixie Rock. I don't really know what Julia is doing...... |

| Dixie Rock! |
The weather was BEAUTIFUL. Aside from the 40 mile hour winds. You can't really understand
how windy it was through the pictures. But it was DANG windy. Which was so random. But we hiked nonetheless.
Pictures below. :)

| Julia had a thing for small holes in the rocks. So we got a lot of pictures with them. |
![]() |
| Typical Julia pose. Rock on babe. |
![]() |
| So we saw this giant rock thing that looked just like a giant lizard. So...I told her to go pretend to get eaten. |
![]() |
| Then I did it. |

| Like I said..hole pictures. |

| If you enlarge this, you can see our hair going crazy. That's from the wind... |
Next, we went and got freezes from Iceberg. And let me tell you.....most delicious thing.
It's like a a float, but blended together. And it's oh so delicious. Especially when it's hot.
So we got those. Then decided to go to FIESTA FUN.
You may be asking what that is?
Well, when she was a young child, Julia and her family went there
and she said it was awesome! It had mini golf, go-karts, arcade games, etc.
So, since we had some time to kill before we could check in, we decided to go.
I CREAMED her at the go-karts. Seriously. I should go pro.
Mini-golf on the other hand.....well....let's just say it wasn't our strong point.
But it was entertaining to say the least.

| We had to wait behind two groups of men, so we took cool pictures while we waited. |

| Sometimes...Julia eats golf balls. |
So, we finished at Fiesta Fun. Checked in to the hotel, and headed STRAIGHT for the pool.
What a wonderful feeling. First swim of the summer.
We swam around for a while, then soaked in some rays. Rotating every 10 minutes. ;)
It was a wonderful feeling.
After that, we headed back to our room, showered, and got ready to hit the town for the evening.
We were getting hungry for real food, since we hadn't had a meal since that morning.
So, seeming how we were on vacation, we decided to splurge.
Pizza Factory babe.
Raspberry lemonade, root-beer, breadsticks, and pizza.
And it was delicious.
Funny story.
So the lady sits us at this bench like table, but it's connected to another table. like the bench keeps going....so we were basically enclosed with another table, which was a little awkward.
Especially when a couple came and sat down there. But at first, we couldn't really tell if they were a couple, because they didn't sit close to each other, and the girl looked like she was just
frustrated the whole time.
It's not until after careful glances, and stealthy eyes that we saw they had wedding rings.
But they were just....awkward. Me and Julia then decided that we would never act like that
with our husbands.
then we continued to enjoy our meal.

| Julia LOVED her pizza. Can you see the guy in the corner? The bench is seriously connected. I'm not lying about this. |
So we finished eating and walked outside and saw this cool telephone booth!
Obvi we had to take pictures in it. ;)

| Babe. |
![]() |
| My face looks kind of....awkward. but don't worry about it. |
We then continued to walk around the little shops and everything there.
![]() |
| We found this cute table and chairs. Which means picture time. |
![]() |
| Okay, I look good. |
![]() |
| Julia REALLY wanted that little boy. |
We then walked through the coolest park you'll ever see. It had a splash pad, a little river that kids could play in. And they had big fields to run around in, a cool looking gazebo with statue children. But the best thing was that they had Carousel. I'm not even lying to you.
IN THE PARK. Right where you can ride it.
So obvi we had to ride it. We weren't going to let that golden opportunity pass us by.

| My horse was named Victoria. She proved to be a good friend. |
![]() |
| Julia had the wild one, named Arrowhead, Arrow for short. |
We thoroughly enjoyed our ride, and continued walking around. We had some time to kill before we were going to go to a movie, so walking was the next best option.
We made a trip to Smith's for camera batteries, and even got some wedding cards purchased (because we have two friends getting married soon, not because we are getting married, just to clarify).

| I modeled for that sign. People don't know that I'm a hand model in secret. Just like Shawn Spencer. |
Movie time rolled around. We were pretty tired, but ready to sit back and relax and watch the movie. Mirror, Mirror was our best option, and it turned out to be pretty good.
I thought it was quite hilarious, especially the dwarves.
But it was weird seeing Julia Roberts play an evil role. She was good though. :)
Back to the hotel, and we crashed. We were exhausted. Can you believe you we did all of that in one day? We couldn't. We crashed on our beds and watched some TV until we absolutely could NOT keep our eyes open.
DAY 2:
Once again we slept in until about 9. Went down to the free breakfast, which was actually quite nice. Two days with a full breakfast. Something we don't enjoy very often.
We then headed back to our room and changed for the temple and packed up, because we weren't coming back. Checked out, then headed to the St. George Temple!
It was absolutely beautiful at the temple. We both hadn't been for quite some time, and so it was a really nice experience. That temple is SO pretty. So white against all the green and red surrounding it. We were there for a couple hours and were treated wonderfully. :)
We then headed to my favorite place in St. George. Twenty-Five Main Cafe. It's so yummy. And it's so cute. Vintagy, which is basically what I love. We enjoyed our last meal in St. George. Thoroughly.

| wonderful cupcakes. :) |
![]() |
| Satisfied. :) |
So we finished lunch, and then headed to the mall! Time for shopping!! And to be honest, the mall was a complete let down. Lamest mall ever. So we went to T-JMax and Old Navy and struck gold. Maxi dress for me, cute purple one for her, and a bunch of other things. I love shopping. Too much for my own good.
Then we headed home! And we were both completely exhausted. Again. When you party like we do, it just takes it out of you!

| Somehow Julia snapped this pic while I was sleeping and she was driving....skill. |
We got back in record time, and parted ways. It was a successful trip to say the least. :)
